Dear Friends and Family,
The Lord’s richest blessing to each of you!
God opened doors to evangelize in two of the 84 prisons of Peru; the larger one had approximately 9,000 inmates. Many of these men are in their twenties. What an incredible opportunity to speak of His forgiveness and abiding love! In addition, we ministered to men and women who are recovering at a Christian rehabilitation center from drug addictions.
The response was awesome as over 400 sought Christ! I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit and the pastors who have laid the groundwork and will return to these places to teach and strengthen these who are so new in the faith. The opportunities for continued prison evangelism are endless.

Our deepest thanks to Pastor Alfredo Agapito and his wife, the prison coordinators, and Raul Melo, the trip coordinator. David Kerney (a former missionary) also accompanied me and was able to see firsthand the desperate needs of the inmates and drug addicts.
It is very encouraging to know that the Good News continues to be proclaimed in all of Peru. I’ll have the privilege of returning in July for fifteen days of solid evangelism (open-air meetings) in the mountain communities.
