The Cross and the Resurrection pose the greatest possibilities for participation and exchange in human history. Christ’s death on Calvary means we no longer have to live life from our woundedness. We now may live from His wounds, and be healed. Christ’s resurrection loudly proclaims that we no longer must be marked by Adam’s fall, for we are now marked by Christ’s glorious ascent, and the triumphant call to the victory of the higher life.
Happy Easter from the Francis Asbury Society.
