What a privilege and unique opportunity to participate in an evangelistic music festival at the Universidad Nacional de Agricultura (National Agriculture University) in Honduras, with an enrollment of over 3000 students.
This special open-air event of three nights was organized and bathed in prayer by a core group of committed Christian students at the university, along with Pastor David Quiroz, their chaplain. The invited singers created a spontaneous and jubilant atmosphere among the attendees (800 and plus), giving a clear message of what it is to be joyful in Jesus. At the close of each meeting, the Gospel message was presented to a very attentive audience.
The response was beautiful as 80 young people sought Christ for the first time, and 90 others were spiritually reconciled! God be praised!
I also had the honor of speaking on TV, in a city church, and to the youth and Bible School students at El Sembrador (Christian boy’s farm school), with positive responses. The graciousness and kindness shown by the Hondurans was heart-warming!
As follow-up efforts are made among those who responded, please pray that many will be grounded in the faith.
Coming up on March 1–8… Evangelism to inmates and students in the outskirts of Lima (capital), Peru.
