Alive and Doing Well!
May 15–25, 2014
What a privilege to visit Cuba (populations over 11 million) for the third time, but this time, in the very heart of the island. And what a blessing to have Joe Kunkle, a good friend and experienced missionary, accompany and assist me in the 14 speaking engagements.
Christ’s Church in Cuba is alive and doing well! And its contagious presence continues to impact society. The void created by communism is being filled by Christianity, and the thousands of house churches throughout the island give full proof of its dynamic existence.
This trip allowed us to minister to the Wesleyans, a young and growing church, whose warm and gracious people took us in as family. Their vision is to see a church in every province of the country.
The family conference and the evangelistic meetings were well attended by Word-hungry, hurting and spiritually needy people. The response was beautiful! Thirty found Christ, and many others sought purity, reconciliation and healing!
Thank you for your prayers and financial support, which makes the evangelistic ministry overseas possible.
