John Adams specializes as a teacher of evangelism and discipleship. His passion is to train people with the gift of itinerant evangelism to be biblically based and effective in their target communities.
John earned his B.A. degree in Bible and Philosophy from Spring Arbor University and his M.A. degree in Evangelism from the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College.
Over a period of fourteen years, John co-developed and ran the Institute for Emerging Itinerant Evangelists, a ministry of East-West Ministries. He trained evangelists in Russia, Spain, Egypt, India, and Central Asia. He also has participated in training evangelists connected with Franklin Graham Crusades in Nova Scotia, Moldova, and India. Previously, he served as general manager for the New York Bible Society in New York City and of the Olive Branch Mission in Chicago.
John and his wife, Linda, have been married since 1977 and live in Indianapolis, IN. Linda is the director of International Child Care Ministries for the Free Methodist Church. They have two grown children. Nathan teaches philosophy at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Carrie works for a member of Congress in Washington, D.C.
