Ellen Bullock’s preaching and teaching is always biblically grounded. Her intent is to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of the word of God and to encourage a deep personal experience of the Lord Jesus Christ through surrender to his will and way. Ellen’s preferred audience is intergenerational.

Ellen Bullock earned her M.Div. degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and is ordained as an elder in the Evangelical Methodist Church. She also earned a B.A. degree in History from Asbury College (now University) and an M.S. degree in Education and Special Education from Eastern Illinois University. She was approved as a general evangelist with the United Methodist Church in 2006 and transferred to the Evangelical Methodist Church in 2013.

Ellen Bullock and her husband, John, have been married since 1982 and have served together in pastoral ministry with the United Methodist Church for over 20 years, in Illinois and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Ellen has served as an evangelist and Bible teacher, and she has spoken at renewal and revival events, evangelism workshops, church and women’s retreats, and family camp meetings.

I am very pleased to recommend the Rev. Ellen Bullock as both a preacher and a teacher. She is an able interpreter of the Bible and does so with clarity, practicality, and humor. She is able to bring depth and simplicity together in ways that are not always found in other speakers. With all of this, she is a model of humility and non-assertiveness. She has a very winsome manner that is sure to disarm some who might be skeptical both of the Bible and of those who preach it. She preaches with anointing and intensity, but is not at all bombastic. She is effective both in small venues and large ones. Those who engage her will not be disappointed. God uses her.
