Robert “Clem” Coleman

Robert Coleman has been a professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary since 2001, after directing the School of World Mission and Evangelism at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for 18 years and teaching at Asbury Theological Seminary for 27 years. Outside of the classroom, he has ministered in countless churches, colleges and universities, student gatherings, evangelistic crusades, retreats, revival meetings, Keswick conventions, and pastor’s conferences around the world.

Hundreds of articles and 28 books have come from his pen, many of which have been widely translated. His best-known work, The Master Plan of Evangelism, has sold multiple millions of copies and is being read in over 100 languages.

Robert and his late wife, Marietta, shared in ministry, making their home a haven for students. Their three married children and their families continue to fill life with wonder.

Cricket Albertson

For the past sixteen years, Cricket has worked for The Francis Asbury Society as an assistant to her grandfather, Dennis Kinlaw, helping him put together and publish several books of his writings and sermons, including the top-selling daily devotional, This Day with the Master.  Dr. Kinlaw lived with her family in their home in Wilmore, KY until his recent passing.

Cricket was a speaker at the 2016 Come to the Fire women’s conference in Nashville, TN. Her presentation, “Joy in the Secret Place” encouraged women to experience the joy of a love relationship with Jesus Christ that expresses itself in holiness of heart and life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Cricket and her husband, Matt, have three teenage children who bring them much joy and keep them very busy.

Jerry & Jan Coleman

Jerry Coleman leads the team of Francis Asbury Society speakers who, together, have many years of ministry experience carrying the Good News to over 50 countries. Jerry received a call to world-wide spiritual awakening which was confirmed when he attended the first Francis Asbury Society Spiritual Awakening conference in 1989. His passion is to preach and teach Scriptural holiness, as well as to mentor others to do likewise, wherever God provides an open door.

A career in the family business was redirected when Jerry felt a call to full-time ministry in the early 1980s. He was ordained in 1987 in the Free Methodist Church.  Jerry pastored two churches in the U.S.A. and served in the home office for Free Methodist World Missions before moving with his family to Europe in 1996. For 17 years, Jerry and his wife Jan, served as missionaries to Europe with the Free Methodist Church, the last 11 years as the area director for continental Europe.

Jan comes from a family that actively practices worship through music. Her parents and grandparents were models in leading the congregation and raising their
voices in praise and glory to the One who is worthy to receive our worship.

Leroy Lindsey

Leroy and his wife, Kay, served as missionary directors of Life and Truth Bible Institute in Mexico through the Evangelical Methodist Church for 11 years. The next 18 years, they ministered in the United States, and then returned to Mexico as OMS missionaries for 15 years.  In more recent years, Leroy has been teaching in seminaries, universities, and Bible institutes in the U.S. and abroad.Leroy Lindsey is an FAS endorsed speaker whose ministry centers on adequately expressing the doctrine of holiness for the twenty-first century audience. Recently, Leroy has focused on a call to return to a radical concept of what it means to be purified from sin and live in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Leroy and Kay have two grown children and three grandchildren.

The Perfect Heart (Jerry Coleman)

David’s holy heart is described in Psalm 101. David was not without flaw, but could he have a blameless heart? Love is the very heart of holiness. How can we possibly love the Lord our God with all our hearts? The heart of the issue is the issue of the heart.

The Witness of an Undivided Heart (Robert Coleman)

Revival brings us to an undivided heart. God desires to restore us to our original purpose, to how we were made. Dr. Coleman will share some of his personal experience during the 1950 Asbury revival.

An Undivided Heart Is a Heart that Trusts (Cricket Albertson)

Trust is the essence of surrender. If we believe God is good and that he is for us, then we are free to surrender our hearts and our lives to him without any reservation. The Psalms are full of declarations of trust, and Psalm 71:1‑3 has been Cricket’s declaration these last few months.

The Joy of an Undivided Heart (Robert Coleman)

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” (Ps 85:6). Joy is the result of having a true heart. People rejoice as a result of a revived heart.

An Undivided Heart Is a Heart that Has the Mind of Christ (Cricket Albertson)

Dr. Kinlaw believed that the mind of Christ was the witness of an undivided heart in any life: no self-interest, no conceit, no complaining, and no arguing (Phil 2). Cricket will illustrate this with his witness, which he gave to his family in the final weeks of his life.

Jesus, Lord of My Heart (Jerry Coleman)

In this session, Jerry will share his story of how he surrendered his self-centeredness and how Jesus filled his heart with his love. His story of a second work of grace came while he was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary preparing for ministry. Everything changed.
