The FAS Ministry Center in Wilmore, Kentucky not only serves as a home office and resource center but also as a highly functional venue in which to host many kinds of events and meetings and a community center for fellowship, reflection, and prayer. The Ministry Center is open to individuals Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and is also available for use by organizations, businesses, and churches by request.
We love our space, so we want to share it as much as possible. You’re invited to come by any time we’re open. Whether you need a quiet spot to work or space for group study, we have plenty of comfy chairs to go around. We have space to study, read, or pray, as well as wireless internet access and hot coffee (if you don't see it, just ask!). We encourage all ages to come out and enjoy the peaceful setting and beautiful architecture of the Ministry Center. We would love to see you soon.
For Meetings and Events
Our Ministry Center has become a popular venue for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners as well as business meetings and retreats. Our conference room can hold up to 100 people in a lecture-style setting or 75 for a dinner. With its timber-frame and stone construction, the Ministry Center can support the more formal, elegant style favored by many wedding parties as well as more casual or rustic decor. Business professionals enjoy the retreat-like atmosphere, and local students and professors are learning that our quiet spaces with free WiFi are conducive to class meetings or group study. Most group events take place in our conference room, but our board room and other smaller spaces are also available to rent on a more limited basis. For Office Space
We also have office space available for doctoral students, missionaries on furlough from the field, and others in ministry who need a temporary quiet space to work. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. While we do not charge for this space, there is an application process and references are required. The staff and volunteers of FAS are committed to cultivating our Ministry Center as a house of prayer. We take seriously each request for prayer that we receive.
